Whatever It May Be...

Does anybody even read my blog?
Does anybody even have the time to just read?
Does anybody like what I write?

 I write. I write what I want to write. I write because it makes me feel lighter. I write because I've been writing my thoughts since I was a child. I write not because I want someone to read what I write.
I write because it makes me happy. I make sense sometime and sometime I don't.

 Whatever it may be...2004 this blog began. It will celebrate its 10th birthday this January 2014.

There are places I'll remember All my life Though some have changed Some forever, not for better Some have gone and some remain Saket, My home in Vile Parle. The bungalow still stands but gone are the 'Otlaa's - where we sat and passed many idle moments in our childhood. Gone is the 'Paachad no compound' - where we collected 'lucky stones' for a game of Hop-skotch. Gone are those artistic metal gates on which we stood and kicked them to open and shut. Fun Being Mum

This wee little fellow resists sleep all day - and night. He just doesn't want to sleep in the afternoon and in the night we actually have to force him to go to bed. Tonight, he kept singing on the bed, in spite of the lights switched off. My husband had lost his patience and told him, "Go to sleep now! It's sleeping time." And to this he replied," No, it's singing time."!!

Amitabh Bachchan Travels

Amitabh Bachchan. Need I say more? The name itself says everything about the man. More than a living legend, he is an iconic figure respected and known worldwide. Just read something about him recently and was reminded of one incident that took place a few years back. My friends were waiting for me at the movie theatre that was 8km from where I lived which was close the where Amitabh Bachchan's bungalow is. It was late evening and there were no rickshaws available near my building. I walked down the road and still couldn't get one. I walked all the way till Amitabh's house and what luck - a rickshaw stopped right there and two boys and a girl got off staring at the superstar's house in front - jaw dropped and eyes full of awe while they paid off the rickshaw.
